Head Lice infests the head and body of humans. Head Lice are thos tiny little buggers which makes up go wild with itch. Head lice are parasitic insects that live in the hair and scalp of humans. The scientific name for head louse is Pediculus humanus capitis. Another name for infestation with head lice is pediculosis. Head lice develop in three forms: nits, nymphs, and adults.Coming into close contact with an already infested person. In children, contact is common during play, while riding the school bus, and during classroom activities in which children sit in groups close to each other. If you are not sure if a person has head lice, the diagnosis should be made by the local health department or a health-care provider, school nurse, or agricultural extension service worker.

Here are some of the good home remedies for these little buggers:

Regularly mix rosemary, lavender, tea tree and water in a spray bottle and mist my kids hair, before they leave the house and again in the evening, during outbreaks in the community. Use this mix to dampen the kids hair between treatments and comb through at least once a day with a nit comb.
