In fact, kids shouldn’t be kept home from school, and “no nit” policies should end, the American Academy of Pediatrics emphasized in a July report.

Head lice are little parasites that have an affinity towards human head and feed on the blood of the scalp. Statistics show greater number of children plagued is girls due to their long hair, frequent exchange of brushes. The ideal age for getting lice is between Three to12.

There aren’t many ways to suspect whether your child is having lice. One of the most blatant signs is that your child has started scratching his head more than usual. Small rashes have developed at the rear of the neck and round the ears.

The sight of head lice pictures would possibly not be nice for mothers and fathers but it is needed when your kid have lice. Head lice aren’t that harmful but are highly contagious. They may lead to infection in the scalp. The photos helps the folks know what to look for and how to tell if there are live lice in the hair. Lice like to nest on the back of the neck on the hairline and around the ears. They are the appropriate place to test to know whether you are infested by head lice.
